Orchard was formed in 2002 by Jonathan Smale and (as the name suggests) in the early days mainly focussed on learning and development. In fact, we ran a lot of training on a wide range of topics, but that was never the long-term plan and as the business became established we were able to focus on the things we love doing the most and where we are able to add the most value to our clients. That's change management, organisational development and leadership.
Projects have included implementing OD, Change and Learning & Development functions, creating a shared HR Service, major restructures, culture change initiatives and highly successful leadership development programmes

We have achieved respected external recognition from the Institute of Leadership and Management who endorse our Leadership Development Programmes and the International Standards for Mentoring Programmes in Employment (ISMPE) for our gold award winning national mentoring programme.
